Lasers are frequently used as a highly effective treatment option when treating a wide range of vascular conditions.
Different laser technologies target the chromophore haemoglobin within blood vessels. The laser emits a concentrated beam of light that is absorbed by the haemoglobin. This light energy is converted into heat, causing the vessels to coagulate and gradually be reabsorbed by the body while minimising damage to the surrounding skin.
The type of laser used depends on the vascular condition being treated, the depth and size of the vessels, and the individual’s skin type. In many cases, multiple treatments may be required to achieve optimal results.
Each Vascular Laser treatment takes approximately 45 minutes.

Is This Treatment Painful?
Most clients find vascular laser treatments to be very tolerable, although the level of discomfort can vary depending on the area being treated, the type of vascular condition, and the individual’s sensitivity.
The sensation is often described as a quick warming feeling or a light snapping sensation against the skin, similar to a rubber band flick. Some areas of the face or body may be more sensitive than others.
To improve comfort during treatment, we utilise a cooling device to help minimise heat and discomfort. Any mild redness, warmth, or swelling experienced after treatment is usually temporary and settles within a few hours to a few days.
