Skin Needling
Skin needling- or can be also known as microneedling or collagen induction therapy- is a minimally invasive skin treatment designed to improve skin texture, tone and overall skin quality.
This treatment involves the use of a medical grade dermal roller device that contains very fine, sterile needles that are use to puncture the skin, creating controlled micro-channels. These tiny micro-channels stimulate the body’s natural healing processes, releasing growth factors that are responsible for triggering the production of collagen and elastin- resulting in tissue regeneration.
These micro-channels also allow active serums (such as hyaluronic acid, peptides, growth factors etc) to penetrate deeper into the skin, enhancing the overall response from the treatment.
As skin needling is used to stimulate collagen remodelling, it is a “go-to” treatment option for those who have concerns with:
- Acne or surgical scars
- Stretch Marks
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Skin tightness
- Skin texture
- Overall skin rejuvenation and glow
Approximately 2 hours per treatment (due to the application of a topical anaesthetic cream applied prior)
$365.00 per treatment
The recommended number of skin needling sessions depends on the goal, the depth of treatment, and the clients skin condition.
In general:
- Mild texture, dullness, or maintenance: 3–4 treatments
- Acne scars or deeper wrinkles: 4–6 treatments
- Stretch marks or significant scarring: 6–8 treatments may be needed

FAQs On Skin Needling
What Are The Benefits Of Skin Needling?
Skin Needling improves blood supply, breaks up scar tissue, and encourages the formation of healthy new skin cells.
The skin improves in quality and thickness through the stimulation and regeneration of elastin and collagen.
Collagen production continues for up to 12 months following the treatment. Depressed acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, skin texture and tone are all improved as a result.
Skin needling is a great treatment option for anyone wanting to improve overall skin health and achieve luminous, healthier skin.
Why Is Skin Needling Effective For Treating Scarring?
Skin Needling is an effective method for scar revision due to the needles on the device penetrating the skin and creating tiny micro-injuries. These micro injuries then stimulate a wound healing response by producing new collagen, elastin and healthy skin cells and blood vessels.
When it comes to scar revision, skin needling can:
– Breaks up abnormal scar tissue: Scar tissue is often stiff and disorganised. Microneedling helps disrupt that fibrous tissue so the skin can rebuild in a more even pattern.
–Fills in depressed scars: For atrophic scars (like rolling acne scars), new collagen can thicken the skin underneath and make indentations look shallower over time.
– Improves skin texture and blending: Needling can soften scar edges and help scars blend more naturally with surrounding skin.
