Carbon Laser Treatment, often called a “Hollywood Peel” or “Carbon Facial,” is a non-invasive laser skin treatment designed to exfoliate, cleanse, and rejuvenate the skin.
The treatment typically involves two main steps:
- A thin layer of liquid carbon is applied to the skin. The carbon penetrates pores and binds to oil, dirt, and dead skin cells.
- A laser is passed over the skin, heating and vaporising the carbon particles along with impurities attached to them.
As the laser removes the carbon, it also provides gentle exfoliation and stimulates collagen production, which can help improve overall skin texture and appearance.
To further enhance the outcome of this treatment, there is the option to add on treatments such as chemical skin peels, microdermabrasion or dermal blading (for an additional charge)

What Is Involved With The Treatment?
This treatment involves applying a carbon mask applied to the skin.
Once the mask is dry, a Q-switch laser is used to and the interaction between the mask and laser evaporates the carbon, eliminating impurities and stimulating collagen production in the process.
In most cases, this treatment is frequently combined with a mild skin peel to further stimulate skin cell turnover, aiding in the removal of any dead skin cells sitting on the surface of the skin. Skin peels also assist in increasing the natural hydration factors in your skin, making your skin feel refreshed and providing a natural glow.

The Carbon Laser treatment is an ideal treatment for those wanting a step up from their regular monthly facial or wants a rejuvenation treatment without the ‘social downtime.’
This carbon laser peel treatment is ideal for treating:

Is This Treatment Painful?
Some clients experience a mild discomfort, however completely tolerable.
During the laser component of the treatment, a client may experience a mild ‘pin-pricking’ sensation, in conjunction with some heat due to the laser producing a mild thermal response. If a skin peel is applied, some clients can feel a mild ‘tingle’ sensation initially. This usually lasts for only a minute as the peel penetrates through the skin before being neutralised.
Who Can Have This Treatment?
This treatment is ideal for all skin types and for optimal results a course of three to six treatments at two to four weekly intervals.
Results can be seen after one treatment. However, the more treatments a client has (like any advanced skin treatment) the better the results.
