What is involved with the treatment?
This treatment primarily focuses on the removal of fine vellus hair commonly found on the face. Using a sterile, surgical scalpel, the skin is gently supported while the blade is lightly glided across the surface, following the natural direction of hair growth to ensure a safe and effective treatment.
The benefits are immediate—skin feels exceptionally smooth and soft due to the removal of the fine vellus (“peach fuzz”) hair, while also helping to reduce the appearance of dull or lifeless skin, leaving the complexion looking brighter and more refreshed.
This treatment does not cause hair to grow back darker or thicker. The only factor that can change vellus hair into terminal (darker) hair is hormonal changes; no cosmetic treatment can alter the natural structure or colour of the hair.
